Feature
- Minimal carbon not greater than .02% to protect against corosion.
- Ideal for buttered passes and overlay work.
- Typically used to weld 309 series stainless steels.
- Has the same qualities as ER309 but with the lower carbon content deemed necessary in many chemical applications.
- Preferred over ER309 for cladding over carbon or low alloy steels, or dissimilar joints that are heat treated.
