ER120S-1 was originally developed for welding HY100 steels for military applications, it is also used for a variety of structural applications where tensile strength requirements exceed 100 ksi (690 MPa), and excellent toughness is required to temperatures as low as -60°F (-51°C).

Feature

• Is designed to weld a wide variety of low alloy high strength steels where high strength and ductility are critical.
• Provides welds with high notch toughness, yield strength, and impact resistance.
• Can be welded with interpass temperatures as low as 300°F while also offering high ductility to -75°F.
